1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using BuildIt AI, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our service.

2. Description of Service

BuildIt AI is a mobile application for planning home renovation projects. Today it provides AI-powered design tools that redesign a space from a photo, itemized materials lists with retailer links, and projects and boards for keeping designs together. A contractor marketplace, in-app messaging with contractors, and contractor accounts are in development and are not available in the app yet; these terms cover them for when they launch.

3. Subscriptions and Payments

BuildIt AI offers a free tier and optional auto-renewable subscriptions — BuildIt Pro and BuildIt Business — bought through the app store you installed the app from. Today that is Apple’s App Store, on iPhone and iPad; the Android app is still in development, and the Google Play terms below apply once it launches. Each subscription is offered on a monthly and a yearly term.

This page does not quote prices, so that it cannot fall out of date. The current price and term are shown on the App Store listing, on the purchase screen in the app before you confirm, and on your store receipt. The price shown on the purchase screen is the price you will be charged.

Each plan includes a monthly allowance of AI design generations, and the free tier includes a smaller allowance of generations and edits. The current allowance for each plan, and how much of yours is left, are shown in the app, which is authoritative.

Payment is charged to your store account when you confirm the purchase, and the subscription renews automatically for the same period until you turn renewal off. The timing is the store’s: on Apple’s App Store, auto-renew must be switched off at least 24 hours before the current period ends, and your account is charged within the 24 hours before that point. On Google Play, once the Android app launches, turning off renewal stops the next charge and your access continues to the end of the period you have already paid for.

You can manage or cancel a subscription at any time in your store account: on iPhone and iPad, in Settings, then your name, then Subscriptions; on Android, once that app launches, in the Google Play app under Payments and subscriptions. Cancelling stops future renewals; it does not refund the period you are already in. Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their own store policies, not by us. If a free trial is offered, any unused part of it is forfeited when you buy a subscription.

A subscription you have already bought can be restored with “Restore Purchases” in the app.

Changing between paid plans keeps you on a paid plan, and the new plan’s allowance applies from the change.

If your subscription ends — because you cancel it, or because it expires — the designs, projects, and materials lists you have already created stay in your account and remain viewable. What changes is what you can create next: your allowances return to the free tier’s, and features limited to paid plans stop being available.

We may change subscription prices. We will give you notice before a change takes effect, and a new price applies from your next renewal after that notice, never retroactively.

4. User Accounts

To use BuildIt AI, you must:

• Be at least 18 years old
• Provide accurate and complete information
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use

You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account.

5. User Conduct

You agree not to:

• Use the service for any illegal purpose
• Post false, misleading, or fraudulent information
• Harass, abuse, or harm other users
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
• Interfere with the proper functioning of the service
• Scrape or copy content without permission

6. Contractor Relationships

BuildIt AI provides a platform to connect homeowners and contractors. We are not a party to any agreements between users and contractors. Plant Repo LLC is not responsible for the quality, safety, or legality of work performed by contractors found through our service. Users should perform their own due diligence and verification.

7. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of BuildIt AI, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, and software, are owned by Plant Repo LLC and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute our content without permission.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

BuildIt AI is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free. We do not warrant the accuracy or reliability of AI-generated content or cost estimates.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Plant Repo LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of BuildIt AI, including but not limited to damages from disputes with contractors, project delays, or financial losses.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violations of these Terms of Service or for any other reason at our sole discretion. You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us.

11. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms of Service at any time. We will notify users of material changes by posting an updated version on this page. Your continued use of BuildIt AI after changes constitute acceptance of the new terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
